When You Do Not Understand…

if u don’t understand it just say it , it ok..

Maybe you do not understand… Sometimes a lack of knowing or a lack of understanding could cause you to interpret the meaning of anything the wrong way. Some people just don’t understand and some cannot comprehend the meanings of that which is being said. When things are very hard to understand it may be due to the wording, how the words are spoken or written.

Example: if you speak english only and someone is trying to tell you something in French, you will look at them strangely and have a puzzled look on your face.  You totally don’t understand anything being said, so u do nothing because you are at a loss for what is being said. Later u may ask yourself what were they telling me? You might feel bad because you did not understand, and rationalize it by saying oh well I do not speak french.

Same as for the Word of God, u just don’t understand it, it makes no sense to you, so u tend to ignore that which makes u feel less smart. When u read something that u do not understand, u tend to put the book down quickly. it has no interest to u. You cannot get interested in the book.  So most often if u cannot get moved or our interest is not sparked, we often loose interest in that particular book.

So as it is for some, when it comes to reading the Bible. There is no connection with what is being said in the Bible so it does not spark your interest at all. So when u do not understand something what do u do? Do you put it down and walk away. Do you feel like since you cannot understand it then, this book is not for you? Do you lose total interest in the book? Do you feel like this book is not the type of book you would like to read? What do u feel about a book u have no understanding of or have not taken an interest in? Do you walk away from it never to pick it up again? That can be very easy to do and never pick it up again. Why? Because u feel u have nothing in common with anything written in the book at all.

Guess what? That is not true at all. It’s just the opposite. You have so much in common with the book that u can’t even imagine. The book, The Bible was written just for u. Its your personal friend and it has so much in it concerning your life. The Bible is your personal book  of answers. It answers all of your questions, and answers questions that you often wonder about. The Holy Bible is your friend. There is a saying, “The Bible will keep you away from Sin, or Sin will keep you away from the Bible”.

How does the body mind and soul function spiritually? We can see with the eye how the body functions carnal. Do we know the difference, we should it is very easy to tell the difference between the two. First what is spiritual?

Spiritual is something related to or concerned with religion, the spirit or the soul.

Often we as humans live as if we are our own creator, maker or inventor. We are not. Concerning a person which has never been in tune to God, the facts does not matter. But as it concerns a person that is fully aware of God and all of His doings and attributes, will  know the importance of the Spiritual life. If there is  life, living, breathing then you do have a spirit. But if you are dead, non-living, non-breathing  then there is no spirit there dwelling within you. No human is complete without a spirit. Some confuse the soul as being the spirit but it is not. They are separate parts of us. We have a body, a soul, and a spirit. Each one has its own function!

If the spirit is not seeking God or not searching to have a connection with God then u will be left out. You have to seek to understand God, it will not come to u naturally, it takes work to develop an understanding of Gods Word. It takes reading it, meditating on it, it takes prayer and it take dedication. But most of us will not invest the time to get the understanding it take to master Gods Words.

I  had these persons to tell me they do not believe in Gods Word because it was written by white men and they changed the words. So I asked him, well who words do u believe in? He said not the Bible, because the slave owners used the Bible to control the slaves. So I told him we are not responsible for believing wrong things. We are also not responsible if people use the Bible for the wrong reasons. We are also not responsible for being told lies. But what we are responsible for is digging out the truths in God’s Words. When we listen to people tell us thing in the Bible and we do not go to God and ask for understanding, and Biblical knowledge then we are responsible. We are responsible for not seeking the truth. Truth is only truth if we believe it, so do not let anybody tell you anything and then you do not go to God and ask for understanding. There are millions of lies being passed out as truths. The truth of any matter is never easy, the truth is the hardest thing to find. Lies are just lying around everywhere. But you have to dig and search for the truths. The Bible is the ultimate truth. So don’t let anybody tell you anything, because anything is not the truth most of the time.

Example: You might sit at home and somebody told u the sky was falling, and u sit there and say ok, you believe them. If u never get up out of your chair to look for yourself, then you are just too lazy to look for yourself, then you need to be lied to.

Example: Say for instance u are told all your life God is white.  As a child you believe that, because everywhere you look you see pictures of a white Jesus. So u never question that. But as you get older and began to search the Bible you be given an understanding that God is not a white man. Look at the history of the people in the Biblical times. Jesus was a carpenter so He worked, he walked everywhere He had to go, I’m sure the sun was out and it was hot. I have never seen anybody that worked in the sun and walked everywhere in the sun being or having white skin. They will develop very dark skin and it never lightens up again.

Liars always take out bits and pieces that serve their purposes, but it takes hard work to uncover the truths. Don’t let the devil sell you a lie. That is why the Bible says :

Destroyed means you are taken out, you die, reduced to nothing…..

Example: You are in a class of some sort, and you don’t quite understand the information being presented, DON’T SIT THERE!!! RAISE YOUR HAND AND ASK A MILLION QUESTIONS UNTIL YOU GET IT!!!!! Don’t worry about who looks at you crazy, or who is taking deep breaths or the ones who are looking at you out the sides of their necks, forget them. ASK, ASK AND ASK!!!

Same way with God, he wants you to ASK, ASK, AND ASK UNTIL U UNDERSTAND HIM AND HIS WORD!!

Now days there is NO REASON FOR YOU NOT TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING, especially the BIBLE. Once you began to understand the more your spirit will become tuned to God the Holy Spirit. We all have a spirit, and that spirit craves to be intimate with the Holy Spirit of God. When u began to seek after God and began to understand Him, your way of life changes. It seeks to please God, and to live more by His Word.

So it is best to seek for yourself, that has been a major problem for us, we let others instill their opinions upon us. And often opinions are the results of what one is thinking. Not what is actual being said, or what is being demonstrated. So in order for us not to fall into and believing someone else opinions, lets take a whole look for ourselves. Read it yourself. Understand it for yourself, and know it for yourself. If you do your research then nobody can lie to you when it concerns the Biblical Truths.

Ok so you say what do I mean?

Examples: Take a look the election candidates, some of us just vote for someone because our friend will be voting for that person. Or the Pastor told you to vote for them, or u heard it on the radio, or someone at your job will be voting for a certain person  or you get in a group to decide to vote for a person, but you really need to read upon the person to get an idea of what they think, or how they feel about issues that concern you. But its more easy for someone to tell you who to vote for than to do your own research. Ok u vote for(example) Hillary because Shelia Lee told you to. But, what if she got paid to tell you to vote for Hillary. So you vote for Hillary, but did u dig and see what she is about, or did u listen to someone else tell you who to vote for?

I tell you this, that is why the country is in the situation it is in today, we didn’t read the Bible, and we did not research the person running for these public offices. We need knowledge, understanding and we need God to make godly decisions. I used to be like that but after trials in my life I’ve learned that everybody I would vote for do not have our best interest at heart, if they did we would not have so many, many black men, black husbands, black sons, black daughters, black mothers or black people in jails.

But after all is said and done, The best wisdom to have is the Wisdom from Gods Words.

As for Grace…

As for “Grace” Extending “Grace” 

By, the grace, of what or who?  What is grace? Who is grace? How, does the grace, you say, help me?  What is the big issue about grace? Is this grace thing real? Who gets the grace? Is grace for me? Is grace a woman or a man? Is grace a personal thing or a corporate thing? Is it a secret thing or public?

 

If you are a church goer, then you have probably heard the word or an explanation for the term grace. But if not then the word grace, may be the name of a female or some form of an emotion. It could even mean sparing the rod. There are so many assumptions for grace. But, “Grace” can surprise you!

As for Grace,

GRACE is, or could be, a concept, a theme, perspective, a promise, a leisure or maybe a God Given inalienable right. Is it earned? Is it bought, gained or given?  Is it time or is it a I owe you?  It depends on what you believe. Beliefs can be right or wrong. But biblically there is only one right. God’s right. I am speaking Biblically.

So as a human what do you believe about grace?

Biblically speaking here it is:

Grace is sparing me from something dreadful. But according to Zondervan, “Grace is being released to us, to release us from the dominion of sin, for believers.” Believers have more pull with God than the sinner.  Zondervan also states that “Grace is portraying a compassionate response from one who is able to change the situation or to help someone in need.

Grace can be demonstrated by humans, but true grace is given by God. Grace is not a human. Grace is an action. Grace has been given to us all, from one extent to another. Grace helps you by sparing you from the destructive hands of satan. Grace also help you find your way back to God, if you get off track. Without grace you would not be given the opportunity to get it right with God. The big issue about grace is that Grace is a pardon! Pardon for the terrible sins we commit. When we hear the word pardon we think of prisoners. No, pardon is the only thing that is giving us grace. Grace is real, if it was not, then the car that ran the red light, might not of missed you. Grace is real, someone was dying in your family, and someone prayed for that person to be healed, and suddenly they were healed, that’s grace.  You lost something, someone found it and returned it, that was grace. A bully stops bullying you, that’s grace.

When you did something wrong as a child, and you know you should have gotten it, but your parents just talked to you, that’s grace.  America with it many sins, has not completely been  destroyed, that’s grace. A person commits murder, but given life, that’s grace, especially when they know they should have gotten death. God’s grace is like love so big, that it  deletes all the mistakes, you can’t  even see the wrongs anymore, because grace makes them all right and forgotten. We all should be dead, but God has given us grace to live and get it right with Him. A fool that loves to sin, and is not quickly destroyed, that’s grace. I hope you kinda get the idea. This thing called grace is nor male or female. Grace is no secret, it is offered to us all. It’s not favored to any one person, or any one race of people.

 God discriminates, but grace does not, and grace is extended to us by God. How is both capable, discrimination and grace?

“Grace” really is amazing. What is “Grace” to you?

GRACE IS EVERYTHING!

WHAT MUST YOU DO TODAY?

Hello, I was just wondering, how was your day today? I can say for sure when you rose from bed, you probably thought for a second, it’s just another day. Yes it was another day to live your life. Another day to live and breathe. You know some of us wake up happy and some of us wake up sad, some aching, and some mad. But you woke up. Did you pick up your Bible to say a prayer, or give thanks?

The world is full of wonderful people, people who love life and living. People that know themselves the most, appreciate living. But I can’t help but to wonder, how many of us have learned to lean and depend on Yeshua our Lord and Saviour. How many of us have forgotten? Life goes by us so fast, we very seldom look around, and we very seldom stop to take in the smell of fresh air. We hurry, with a hush, hush attitude.

But… STOP!

Does anything matter anymore, except for what we want? We live in an, about us world. All about the mighty dollar. I wonder do you know your next door neighbor. Do you know who runs the corner store? Do you know how many churches are in your neighborhood? Can you put your computer down long enough to talk to someone or your cell phone? Did you pass around some love and joy! Did you smile or shake someone’s hand. Did you say I love you to someone? Did you have a small conversation with Jehovah Our Mighty God? Did you pray today? I don’t know how you, my readers, feel about things, but I pray that we will seek Lord Yeshua. Get to know Him?

As we go our merry way can we tell, or express the whole world that “v.7 He Christ our Lord was oppressed and was afflicted yet He opened not His mouth; He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter. As a sheep before the shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth. V.8 He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgressions of my people was He striken. V.9 And He made his grave with the wicked and the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth. Isaiah 53:7-9 KJV

Do we think about who suffered so that we can have the things we have. Do we thank Him for providing a way to be set free, a way to repent for all this wrong stuff we do? I think anybody that has suffered for us so that we can have a better life deserves honor. Our King and Lord needs to be honored. He suffered terribly for ALL of us. But most of us have forgotten. Our memories are so very short. But when you really appreciate something or someone YOU NEVER FORGET!!!

Example: If you were walking down a sidewalk or a hallway, or even a street and you suddenly lost your eyesight;  someone came along and guided you to a place of safety, how would you feel? That person then led you to the place you were trying to go to, or called for help; would you be grateful? All your trust would be in that person. You would never forget that person, not in a million years! Would you really be grateful? The skin color of the person wouldn’t matter either. You’d be saying I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t showed up and helped me. You’d be crying and holding on to the person for dear life. So why do most of us forget Jesus our Deliverer,  God and Redeemer. He’s doing the same thing today, for you.

Can we tell others a story or testify about His mighty works in your life? Even if you don’t think its mighty guess what it is! Know why? You really could be dead somewhere, or in a grave, in sprinkled somewhere in ashes. I don’t care how badly times get, we still have to appreciate that we are still alive. Even the people who are bent on making other people lives miserable, guess what, you are still breathing! We all have to lift ourselves up sometimes, because we feel so low. But it’s ok. The Majesty in the Heavens hears and sees it all. He lifts up bowed down heads. He is the ONLY ONE!

What must you do today, the thing you forgot to do on yesterday! Call His Name. Call on your Father, the One Who Is Waiting! We Better Call His Name!!!

Call His Name. Call His Name. You can call His Name. You can call on Him. You know you can call His name. It’s not hard to do. Just call His Name? Just open your mouth and say His Name. If you have to because you find it hard to open your mouth to call His Name, then just close your eyes. Now is that better….
