WHEN U’RE NOT FEELING IT!!!!!

MLK Jr. Quote

MLK Jr. Quote

“You wanna be ok with it…., but your heart, u really ain’t feeling it”. So sure many of us feel that way. Those feelings happen or may manifest often or very seldom, but we all know, or have experienced feelings such as those…. Now let me give you some examples of exactly what’s it means when u are not feeling it. (liking it)

1. When it’s time, we vote for a new president. OK now, we see the list of possible candidates, and you say to yourself, I know there should be someone better. (we ain’t feeling it)

2.  You watch the news everyday, you wanna watch it to keep up with the latest happenings, but after you saw it, you say to yourself, I would have felt better, if I had not watched it. (we ain’t feeling it)

3. The Supreme court finalizes laws of the land, but a lot of the laws they confirm, do not sit well with a lot of people. (so one again we really ain’t feeling it)

4. Politicians criticize each other, we have to see, hear, and be subjected to all this. (we ain’t feeling it)

5. People or groups want to subject their ideas, lifestyles or force their ideologies upon us. (we ain’t feeling it)

6. We live a long time and you see changes happening in the world today, that you never would have imagined. (we ain’t feeling it)

7.  When you know you are right about something, but the world society is telling you, u are wrong. (u ain’t feeling it)

8. You just got a pay check on your job, but the pay’s not matching your labor. (u ain’t feeling it)

9. When you’re going through something, and you heart is breaking, and the people around u are telling u, you’ll be ok. (u ain’t feeling it)

10.  You’re paying twice for a house that should have been paid off 30 years ago. (u ain’t feeling it)

11.  Police brutality when u know it does not have to be. (we ain’t feeling it)

12. The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer(we ain’t feeling it)

13. Being lied to when u know it ain’t true. (we ain’t feeling it)

Well that was just to give you an idea of what I am talking about…..

So now, when people are not really, in agreement with something, but just go along with it all because they feel that is the normal thing to then; then that would be called, “going along to get along.”  Yes, sometimes we’ll just agree with a situation as not to cause a distraction, be offensive or better yet, not to be called the distraction. Because no one wants to be the odd ball, or the subject of confusion, or the sore thumb, or the troublemaker, of the problem, or the nutty one, or the troublemaker or u’re angry; so we go along to get along.

Another example: “Say for instance a group of policemen, driving along mining their own business see a man running down the road. Now the cops just had a big lunch, a few laughs and are really feeling good. As they drive along,  two of the cops in the car said” I wonder why he’s running, then another said, oh, it’s probably nothing.  Then the third cops says let’s check it out. So they stop, and ask the man to stop running, he did. One cop says where u going in such a hurry? The man says home. The next cop says why in such a hurry? He says my sister called and said, my mom is sick. So I’m running  to hurry home. Ok the other cops say, can’t u tell he lying, look at the sweat on his face. Then another cop say yeah. Then the second cop says let’s search him, they do and find anything.  Ok you’re good u can go. Then one cops says let’s go. But then the third cops says, not before I give him a reminder, and the fourth cop says a reminder, of what?  So that cop hits the man with his stick, twice. Then they laugh, but the first cop , says man you should not have hit him like that. The other cops say why? He said because the man did nothing, he was just trying to get home to his sick mom. But he did not report it? Why? Going along with the wrong to get along with his fellow cops. A few days later, the good cop saw the man that was running down the road. He stopped and the man said, my mom made it to the hospital just in time, but when I got home I passed out, and had to be rushed to the doctor, they said I had a small concussion and this bruise will take months to heal.” All that for what? Why no one stood up, well it’s called going along to get along or is it called fear?

So we often go along with situations to be able to fit in, or liked by others. But in our hearts, we know we ain’t feeling it.

So is that right? Is it wholesome? Is it good? Is it Honest? Is it appropriate? Is it merited? Is it moral? Is it conscientious?  Well I guess if u are the kind of person that is passive and wants to get along with everybody, its ok. But if u have a problem with going along to get along, then u get restless in your seat. U get a sense of  “o man,” how can people be so complacent? So un concerned or un motivated to do something. But in all reality say something. Write a blog, post to Facebook,  or some of the others, things people do, and u don’t have to be violent about it either. But don’t do nothing.

Ok, example: If Martin Luther King Jr. had of just watched events unfold on TV or radio, and did nothing we would probably still be riding on the back of the bus, or not being able to eat in certain places. Not be able to attend the schools we would like. Buy homes in neighborhoods u like. You get the point.

Now to be more realistic, just say for instance: Main Point  Jesus decided to not go to the Cross! Let’s just say he said, I’m not gonna heal the sick, raise the dead, give sight to the blind, feed the hungry, you get the idea. What a mess we would be in. If Jesus had of just said to His disciples, lets just sit back and watch how thing unfold. Lets just see how they all will turn on each other, and do horrible things to each other. What if Jesus said, they are getting just what they deserve. What if Jesus just went along with the crowd to get along with everybody? What if He decided not to come to earth in the first place? Well  he never would have been crucified. So I said that to say this: When u stand up for something and it’s not popular with your group, then u need to get another group. Why go along with something when u ain’t feeling it! There are always choices to be made: SO MAKE THEM! Lose a few friends…. Lose a few buddies… Lose, lose, lose but in the end u really GAIN!

YOU CAN’T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT U, YOU CAN’T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY TO U. YOU CAN’T WORRY ABOUT FRIENDS, BECAUSE U REALLY DON’T HAVE ANY ANYWAY.

Just MAKE SURE THAT THE PERSON, U DO CARE ABOUT IS; “WHAT WOULD JESUS SAY TO ME, IF I STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT AND MORAL….. What would He say, to me if I stood up in His shoes or sandals, and spoke like He spoke…. That is hard for some of us and comes naturally for some, but in the long run u can always live with knowing that u did something that will benefit generations to come.

Oh by the way everybody does not like you,  so stop, right now thinking that they do, some will never like you and no matter what you do or say  you can never convince them to like you.  Some might have liked u at first but after u stood up and spoke up they will no longer like u. SO, oh well its part of the territory and expect that.

From my reading the Bible I learn to live for God, not man, man can hurt you and make u feel so bad about yourself and the things you stand up for. So stand in Christ Jesus and when you do, it really does not matter how others feel about you. That is what I especially like about Jesus, he did not care if He was liked; although he asked his disciples, who do they say I am, St. Mark 8:v.27 Jesus went out, along with His disciples, to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way He questioned His disciples, saying to them, “Who do people say that I am?” 28 They told Him, saying, “John the Baptist; and others say Elijah; but others, one of the prophets.”… So when he turned around and asked his disciples who do you think I am, Peter answered, You are the Christ. [The scripture says “He said to them, But who do you say that I am?] So I assume, what He asked to them all, who do you say I am, He was asking the question to all of His disciples, but Peter answered first, so the Bible does not say if the rest was trying to answer before Peter beat them to it or if the other let Peter answer for them. It also does not say if  the others did say something at all. But anyway let’s just say only Peter really knew who Jesus was. Then you mean to tell me all his disciples his closest group, did not really know who he was? Then if that be the case your friends don’t really know you either.

That passage gave me, a great insight “people don’t know u but assume that u what are what they perceive u top be!!!! So if they perceive you to be that, then to them you are that! SO do what you have to do to please Jesus, because I will tell you right now u will never ever please everybody. So when you ain’t feeling something, then do something about it!!! Jesus did….

The Beginning of…

the Bible

In the beginning…

The very first three words in the Holy Bible, “In the beginning”. That short phrase has so much power within it.

I looked at the words over and over. I say them over and over to myself, “In the beginning”. The words of God, goes on to say, “God created the heaven and the earth”. But it’s the words “in the beginning, they have me in awe. In the beginning of time, after everything….  then, God created Adam and Eve.

“In the beginning”. It means something; matter of fact it means a lot. God could have said, “first or before, or even I created it all. He could have even said, I created man last or the heaven and earth was the first thing, but instead He said, “in the beginning”. We all have a beginning. What is a beginning? Lots of things have a beginning, all things have a beginning. All things have an origin.

Beginning is life.

The beginning of a life.

The beginning of you.

The beginning of self.

The beginning of growth.

The beginning of understanding.

The beginning of – No.

The beginning of – Yes.

The Beginning of your life, the Bible is the beginning of your life. It has your story; it has my story and everybody else’s story. But the story of your life is just the beginning, because it will continue, long after the fact… The Bible has you covered. There has to be a beginning for everything that ever existed on earth and in the earth. There is only one of us, but we have several beginnings. When I say several beginnings, I mean several beginnings which fit into your one life. We only have but, one life but many beginnings. Many beginnings to self. Self is you and all of you. No one else can be you, or live your life for you, as you. It has to be you and only you. Because of the things and circumstances; we may often wish we could live another life or become someone else, but we can’t. Our beginning is ours, and so is our end. Say for instance when we mess up, or something happens we wish we could change, or could have changed. We can’t. Say for instance you caused a serious car wreck and someone was killed, don’t you wish you could have changed the situation? You Can’t. You may have said something hurtful, accidentally did something wrong or made a terrible mistake, and could you take it back? No. You may say if only I had…

If I, just could have…

That all goes back to the beginning.

“In the beginning”.

Just think. For example, when Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For her, that was her beginning of a sad and fearful life. The beginning of emotions, the beginning of confusion, the beginning of sadness, the beginning of problems and so on. If she had only obeyed the instructions of God.  I can imagine how she must have felt; I can even imagine how Adam must have felt. The regret, the pain, heartache, the grief, the isolation, the loss of their best friend, their Daddy’s trust.

But in this life, beginnings can good for some and bad for others. The beginnings of mistakes. The beginnings of triumphs. The beginnings of victories, and failings. When God created Adam and Eve, I am sure He knew the possibilities of failures on the part of Adam and Eve. He created them to be prefect. When the beginning of something awful creeps in, then there is a possibility that everything can become spoiled or rotten. It can be considered messed up or sinful. There can be a beginning to sin in our lives. Something sinful happened. That’s the beginning of sin for each of us. There’s always a beginning to something, and for something,in this life we live.

Was that sin when Eve did the thing she was not supposed to do? Yes. When we do things we are not supposed to do, is it sin or just bad judgment? Both.

Can sin be both bad and good? No. Sin is sin and God hates sin!

But that brings into the subject another question; what is your story?  As you begin to read the Bible and share in the stories of all the people in the Bible, you will begin to find yourself. If you read long enough you will find yourself, and your beginning.  You will identify with the person in the Bible that has your attitude, your thought process, and your willingness to obey or not obey. You will find reminders of your life. Reminders of the life of someone you know. But no matter what you are there.

God created one of all. But we all have sinned in one form or another. The only difference is that, some of us may know how to control it better than the other person. Like King Solomon said,  “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God require that which is past”.  That means nothing is new to begin with. God will require an answer from you for whatever reason, concerning your sins.

Let us understand that the beginning of sin is the beginning of our demise. We accept life as it is, never to correct our sinful self. We go on each day living in sin, never to repent, but it will stop one day. That will be the beginning of our end.  We must make a new beginning to please God. Why wouldn’t you want too? There is always someone whom we seek to please; husband, wife, children, boss, whomever we love the most or whoever we believe to be in authority. We seek to please. But God is the universes’ Authority. He is the Ultimate Authority, some choose to believe that, and some choose not to believer that.

You are always given the chance to begin to live for Christ, the Master behind the Beginning! God, Jehovah in the beginning, also gave us birth of a righteous mind to understand all that is good and pleasing to Him. It is time we use our minds and bodies to serve Him in all His glory. He gave it all to us first, so why not give it all back to Him. The best thing in this life He gave to us. So now give it back. Show God we appreciate His mercy and grace.

One thing God gave Adam and Eve was credit for cursing us all. He let us know the reason for all the troubles we have. God even warned us about satan , and how he convinced Eve to sin. God has no secrets and tricks to cause us to sin. We do it all by ourselves as Eve did. We like it because as Eve did, she saw…

“She saw that the tree was good for food and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit, thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

This is what that passage tells me; in the beginning her eyes “saw” that the tree was food, food is something we need to live. But we don’t need sin to live. Plus the food looked good to her eyes, something she desired to have such as a fine piece of jewelry. Have you ever eaten something that just melted in your mouth, a good piece of chocolate? A tree to be desired, something to be desired, such as a million dollars. Did she know the meaning of the word wise or did satan plant the thought in her mind when he told her, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. Did that make her want it more? So after he told her that; she ate!!! Did satan make her eat or was it something she wanted to do all along?

I’ll tell you what; satan can’t make you do something you do not want to really do! So she wanted to eat it and she did, even causing Adam to eat of the tree too.

In your mind’s eye what do you see? A woman ready to sin. A woman ready to cause someone else to sin.  A woman who did not want to do what was good and right. That was a new beginning for the both of them. For us too. One they wish they could have taken back a trillion times. God sent them both away from Him. One day we will stand before God, and some will be turned away from Him also. Don’t play around with satan in the garden you will pay! Adam and Eve were given the opportunity to obey His law and His command, not to eat of the tree.

So I ask you now – Get your beginning right. Right now! Try by beginning to understand Christ God Our King.  Your beginning started a very long time ago, In Christ Our Lord and Creator.

The PoWE’r in the sIN,or the sIN in the PoWE’r (intentional word errors in title)

LOVE THE SINNER HATE THE SIN

LOVE THE SINNER HATE THE SIN

Have you ever wonderd why someone in authority can be so cruel?

Have you ever wondered why some people love to inflict pain on others?

Have you ever paid attention to a person when they are inflicting sorrow on someone else?

Have you even seen a person’s face when they have done you wrong and know they have?

Have you ever watched someone when they have made you feel uncomfortable?

Have you ever come face to face with someone who has lied on you and you know it?

Have you ever needed a customer service representative’s help desperately, and they seemed to experience joy, in your disappointment, and  didn’t find a solution to your problem?

Have you ever tried to figure out how come some of us can’t experience pain, but joyfully give it?

Have you ever needed the mercy of others but none was there?

Have you ever suffered because of someone else?

Ever hoped relief would come but it never did?

Well you get the idea….

It is because of the PoWEr in sIN; or can I say the sIN is in PoWEr.

That literally means:

The sINner has PoWEr in their sIN nature. When a sINner exerts PoWEr the outcome is always a sINful one. So whenever a sINner is given poWEr, it is always – ALWAYS used in the wrong way.

How and why can I say that?

LOOK AROUND…. Listen….. Comprehend… Analyze… Think…. Be Quiet… Pause for a moment…Slow down….Meditate on things…. Hush…Reason…Watch… Observe…Pay attention….Perceive…Recognize… Seek…Get the picture…Grasp…See… See through…Understand….Search…Be aware…Catch on…Know…Realize…Take in…Be informed…Gather…Hear..Learn…Process….

Look at people, watch them, you don’t have to stare

Listen to people, hear them

Watch people; in other words observe them…. Friends, Family, Associates, Strangers, Church Members, Co-Workers, Instructors, The Pastor(s), the People you watch on TV, the Entertainers, the President of the US, the People that occupy the Senate, the Congress, Police Officers, Judges, the Persons that occupy the seats in the Supreme Courts, your Neighbors, the Cashiers at the corner store, Teachers,  Bankers, People you trust, People you don’t trust!!!! Just open up your eyes, and mind…

What do you see, who do you see?  You see a people, you see a person, who are human like you, like me; all having a natural tendecy to sin!

Watch how they act, watch the things they do, pay attention to the things they say, just observe and the conclusion is usually the same. We all SIN. The key is there is PoWEr in sin. Yes PoWEr, but guess what! It’s the WRONG kind of PoWEr! Having or possessing the wrong kind of power can be DEADLY!

Deadly is what it causes. If we can just think about all the hurtful things that we have done or others have done to us. It causes sickness, broken hearts, ulcers, mental illnesses, emotional illnesses, cancer, stress, sleeplessness, more than normal doctor’s visits,  you get the idea.

Example: I had broken my leg and had to have a metal rod placed in it, so I got behind in my house note, I couldn’t work right then. So Wells Fargo did everything to take my house. They put it up for sale about 10-15 times with a sale date,  people coming by to take pictures and  just to look at it, I had to go to court several times to try to keep it. It was such a stressful event. I cried a many days and nights, because I have lived in the house for 19 years, raised my children there, and was almost through paying for it. But do you think they tried to work anything out with me NO!! They just wanted the house, no matter what, but God….! Do you think they cared about my sleepless nights, my sore eyes caused by crying, my ulcers, my high blood pressure, NO! NO! and NO!!! No compassion, no understanding, no sympathy, no nothing, but repeated sale dates, and lying home preservationists specialist, and I am still going through it with them. Every papers I sent them was never received they say, so I sent papers about 50 times for the same things. See I often say : it’s me today, but it could be you tomorrow!  Where was I going to go, no money, no help, no nothing? Some of the people I tried to talk to about it didn’t care oh well it wasn’t them. The people at Wells Fargo seemed to demonstrate no interest what so ever. But God!!!! The lawyer I hired was in it for the money I guess, because I still had to get NACA-The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (“NACA”) to help me keep my home. The trustee was a joke. But God!!! It was like hell… But God… SO who really cares when, you’re in something that too much for you to withstand ….But My Lord, Keeper and Messiah Yeshua… He cared enough for me to see me through and touch somebody’s heart to help me and that was NACA-The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (“NACA”)!!!! I share with you an example of an ordeal in my life, that demonstrates, what happens when a sinner has power to hurt people. People die everyday; because some types of stresses have pushed them to a point in their lives that can be too overwhelming for them. Because PoWEr has been distributed to the wrong people or person. We are all sinful and I am not trying to specifically say Wells Fargo is a bad company, but sometimes the people a company hires have no interest in helping the customer. Their basic intentions are to help themselves. So if say for instance I was hired in public service, to help others, but the goal of helping people had somehow been pushed aside, then why am I there. So in helping myself I have forgotten why I was hired in the first place. But the main thing is when you can’t even complain to a supervisor, because they are there to help themselves also. So who’s helping the customers NOBODY. But if one can only remember that people are human and have needs and feelings.  The company staff should be able to help, in positive way, but their positive ways are a self greed solution, that is beneficial to the company. Somehow you would think they could  find a way to help me, not hurt me.

But I forgive everybody that have  or had something to do with my housing situation. God has forgiven me so I must forgive them. God forgave, so I must forgive. It doesn’t matter how they have treated me unfairly, in my housing situation. God will deal with them individually. But as for me I forgive. I hurt, I  fasted and I forgave.

The key is the word SOMEHOW!!!!  Somehow help them, somehow make it work, somehow get their needs met. But that seems to be a thing of the past! “I think customer service died on the cross with Jesus“. But you see Jesus rose up for us all with all POWER!

HIS POWER IS THE GOOD POWER! Power to do things right. Power to love others. Power to end the suffering. Power to be helpful and not hurtful. Power to be kind. Power to bear another burdens. Power to smile. Power to make wrong things right. Power to bring joy. Power to find a solution. Power to understand. Power to have compassion. Power to overcome. Power to be positive. Power to do.  Power to be unselfish. Power to be brave enough to do the morally right things.  Power to care. Power to have courage. Power to be courteous. Power to become devoted. Power to empathize. Power  to use faith. Power to gain wisdom. Power to trust. Power to know the difference. Power to be strong. Power to be sincere. Power to demonstrate integrity. Power to hope. Power to seek the truth,  and I know you’re getting the idea…

Where is the Christ-Like POWER? Where would you look for Christ – like Power? Answer: Within each of us! It has to be nurtured. It has to be discovered. It has to be used. It has to be demonstrated in our actions. It’s there, but we fight so hard not to use it. It have to be practiced. IT’s there, every one of us was created by The Lord, Yahweh, with it already installed.

HE the Lord Yeshua GAVE IT TO US, BUT WE JUST DON’T USE IT! Why? Because it is so easy not to use it! If we use the Power God gave us , then we have to have to acknowledge Christ our Lord. So we are not going to do that, because it will make us judge other less and love others more. It will make us look up to others and not down on them. It will make us see others through the eyes of Christ our Saviour. See others as Christ sees us.  It will cause us to sin less and strive to live holy and righteous.

“But as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written:
‘Be holy, because I am holy'” I Peter 1:15-16

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”
Matt. 5:48

“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure”
I John 3:3

“Whoever claims to live in him MUST walk as Jesus did” I John 2:6

Motives for Moral Living

KEY VERSE: “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others”. —Philippians 2:4

New Century Version -“Do not be interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others”. Philippians 2:4

SELECTED SCRIPTURE: Philippians 2:1-13

ALL mankind should, of course, strive to live blameless, moral lives; but our lesson is specially directed to those who call themselves Christians. The Scriptures throughout present Jehovah God as a righteous, loving God. His entire universe is founded on the principles of righteousness and justice, and whatsoever is out of harmony with these godly principles is out of harmony with the person and character of the great Creator himself. Speaking to his typical people Israel God said, “Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy.”—Lev. 19:2

That this admonition applies also to God’s antitypical people of the Gospel Age is confirmed by the Apostle Peter. Addressing his remarks to the church he says, “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct; since it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy.”—I Pet. 1:14-16, RSV

Surely, we can have nothing but deep, heartfelt love for that Just and Holy One who first of all gave us the incomparable blessing of life itself, and then demonstrated His continued love for sinful mankind by sending His only begotten Son to redeem us from our sins! Surely, a proper realization of such supreme love should rouse within each one who calls himself a child of God the desire and determination to return that love of our Heavenly Father to the best of his ability! And this we can do, the Apostle John points out, by sincerely striving to keep his righteous commandments. “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments.” If we keep God’s commandments, we have his assurance that we are his children, and may entertain the glorious hope of being with our Lord Jesus in the kingdom!—I John 5:3

And how could anyone who calls himself a Christian—a footstep follower of our Lord Jesus—not have an unsurpassed motive for moral living! How could any who is trusting in the merit of Jesus’ sacrifice not wish to show his love and appreciation for his Master by following to the best of his ability the perfect example of him who was holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners? How our hearts are touched as our gratitude and love daily increase for that selfless one “who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works”? (Titus 2:13,14) If we truly love him who died for us, if we truly appreciate his love for us, we will daily endeavor to keep his righteous commandments; for Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments. … If a man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.” (John 14:15,23) What greater motivation to live a righteous life could one possibly imagine!

And what of our responsibility to our brethren, who are walking daily in the same narrow way of sacrifice and suffering? The Apostle Paul cautioned Timothy, “If any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” Paul here, of course, is speaking of the material needs of the brethren. But an even greater need of the brethren is for spiritual provision. Thus Paul instructed Timothy, “Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation [conduct], in charity [love], in spirit, in faith, in purity. … Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine [teaching]; … for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.” (I Tim. 4:12,16) Continue in them, Paul says; for this is not the work of a moment, but rather the work of a Christian lifetime. Thus Jesus told his disciples, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”—John 15:12,13

Long ago the psalmist David asked, “Who shall ascend into the hill [kingdom] of the Lord, or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.”—Ps. 24:3-5

Who could wish—or who could possibly find—a greater motivation for righteous living!

You see a people, who are human like you: all having a natural tendency to sin!
