As for Grace…

As for “Grace” Extending “Grace”

By, the grace, of what or who?  What is grace? Who is grace? How, does the grace, you say, help me?  What is the big issue about grace? Is this grace thing real? Who gets the grace? Is grace for me? Is grace a woman or a man? Is grace a personal thing or a corporate thing? Is it a secret thing or public?

If you are a church goer, then you have probably heard the word or an explanation for the term grace. But if not then the word grace, may be the name of a female or some form of an emotion. It could even mean sparing the rod. There are so many assumptions for grace. But, “Grace” can surprise you!

GRACE is, or could be, a concept, a theme, perspective, a promise, a leisure or maybe a God Given inalienable right. Is it earned? Is it bought, gained or given?  Is it time or is it a I owe you?  It depends on what you believe. Beliefs can be right or wrong. But biblically there is only one right. God’s right. I am speaking Biblically.
So as a human what do you believe about grace?

Biblically speaking here it is:

Grace is sparing me from something dreadful. But according to Zondervan, “Grace is being released to us, to release us from the dominion of sin, for believers.” Believers have more pull with God than the sinner.  Zondervan also states that “Grace is portraying a compassionate response from one who is able to change the situation or to help someone in need.
Grace can be demonstrated by humans, but true grace is given by God. Grace is not a human. Grace is an action. Grace has been given to us all, from one extent to another. Grace helps you by sparing you from the destructive hands of satan. Grace also help you find your way back to God, if you get off track. Without grace you would not be given the opportunity to get it right with God. The big issue about grace is that Grace is a pardon! Pardon for the terrible sins we commit. When we hear the word pardon we think of prisoners. No, pardon is the only thing that is giving us grace. Grace is real, if it was not, then the car that ran the red light, might not of missed you. Grace is real, someone was dying in your family, and someone prayed for that person to be healed, and suddenly they were healed, that’s grace.  You lost something, someone found it and returned it, that was grace. A bully stops bullying you, that’s grace.
When you did something wrong as a child, and you know you should have gotten it, but your parents just talked to you, that’s grace.  America with it many sins, has not completely been  destroyed, that’s grace. A person commits murder, but given life, that’s grace, especially when they know they should have gotten death. God’s grace is like love so big, that it  deletes all the mistakes, you can’t  even see the wrongs anymore, because grace makes them all right and forgotten. We all should be dead, but God has given us grace to live and get it right with Him. A fool that loves to sin, and is not quickly destroyed, that’s grace. I hope you kinda get the idea. This thing called grace is nor male or female. Grace is no secret, it is offered to us all. It’s not favored to any one person, or any one race of people.
God discriminates, but grace does not, and grace is extended to us by God. How is both capable, discrimination and grace?
Here is something that may interest you!

“Grace” really is amazing. What is “Grace” to you?

I was just sitting here thinking about some things in the world that I just don’t like….

Some things that just makes me sick, some things that just irks me, some things that some of us probably don’t even consider….

SIN MAKES ME SICK….And it should make you sick too…

The reason it makes me sick is because it is SIN…..

I hate sin because we all sin

I hate sin because it takes me down a path that I really would not like to travel

I hate it because it makes me and anybody else act up

It hurts

It destroys

It deceives

It tears down

It steals

It stinks

It ruins

It kills

It harms

It fakes

It robs

It lies

It causes wars

It breaks up marriages

It is disease

It corrupts

It  hates

It causes racism

It  murders

It points fingers

It’s  big

It’s popular

So if sin is all of that, then why partake of  it?

Why do I commit it?

Why do I bathe in it?

Why do I shower in it?

Why do I dine with it?

Why do I live with it?

Why do I share my life with it?

Why do I hold a conversation with it?

Why do I let it master me and I not master it?

Why do I not fight it?

Why do I walk a path with it?

Why do I let it win?

Why do I let it boss me around?

Why do I get the upper hand?

Why do I let it entertain me?

Why do I entertain it?

Why My Sins?

I can only speak for myself! Your sin are not my sin, and my sin are not yours.

But I do know sin is sin!!

We have all sinned and are still sinning…

Will we stop tomorrow, or even today?

Because surely, only God knows! Yes He knows my thoughts, my desires, my weaknesses, my secrets, yes He knows!!!!! He knows my sins! He knows your sins!

When I was young I did things and hid the truth from my parents, but God knew. He still knows.

Why do we let sin rule?

It rules our lives

It rules our decisions

It rules our emotions

It rules our actions.

It rules us!

Because we let it!

Why does our sins dictate to us how we should act or react?I’M tired and I’m fighting it!!! It will no longer defeat me!! Sin has done enough damage in my life. But my Lord Yeshua has said “NO MORE”!!!  No More!  NO MORE!!!!!  No More my child!! You have got to Fight it! Stand sure-footed against it!

STOP LETTING SIN MAKE A FOOL OF US!!! That’s all sin does is make fools of us!!! Yeah we don’t see it, with the natural eye,  but  we are made fools. We really ought to be ashamed of ourselves,we’re foolish and giant embarrassment to Lore Yeshua our Creator and Father. You know some of us do see it with the natural eye.  For OUR LORD MESSIAH YESHUA  has given us enough sense to know when we are making fools of ourselves.

Every person knows when they are wrong in their ways, and if not it is because you refuse to see! You refuse to accept Our Lord Christ Yeshua as the ultimate authority. It is because you refuse to acknowledge  Christ The Lord is King and Ruler of All.

I sit today  and as I write this and ponder over our sinful nature. Some of us will die and leave this earth before Dec. 31, 2012 and never ask Lord Yeshua our Messiah to forgive us for all of our sins. Yes this is the closing out of another year. Have we asked Our Lord and Saviour to save us from ourselves. Have we asked Him to clean us up and heal us from sin, and our sinful nature? Have we asked Him to accept our repentant prayer? I ask myself to ask you to help us to heal us of sin. Lord we need you to prepare our hearts for a major clean up. Lord Yeshua we need you now today, right now. Yes tomorrow but today!!!! This very minute, this very second, if we live to see another hour, then we need you this hour Lord. We need you!!!!! Lord we need You !!!!!NOW!!! Right now!!!! Tomorrow may just be too late.

Lord I ask that we stop hating our neighbours, hating each other, stop trying to take some things that were not ours in the first place, Lord teach us how to love each other. Lord Yeshua teach us how to forgive, teach us how to repent, teach us how to stop hating our brothers and sisters because their skin is darker than theirs. Lord teach us how to love the poor and the sick, Lord teach us how to speak life and not death. Lord Yeshua please teach us how to praise you. Lord teach us how to please you! Lord stop the evil in us, and make us holy and righteous! Lord you are our Keeper, Lord Yeshua please keep us near your Cross. Lord we need you, even and especially the ones who think that they don’t need You. Lord have pity and mercy on the atheist  for you already said in your Word, when you asked “Your Father to forgive them for they know not what they do, when they hung you on the cross”! Father forgive us all for we really don’t know the things we do against you Father!!! We really don’t understand nor take into consideration how you feel, how we have hurt you, how we have once again made you ashame, just like we did when you destroyed the world with a flood. Lord help us see the light before it is too-oo late!!!! Because I know when you get so tired us that we have began to stink in your nostrils and you will act upon the land and all that inhabit it, that means us Lord Christ! Lord please forgive us. We think right is wrong and wrong is right. Forgive us! Lord Yeshua our Saviour have mercy upon us.

James 4

Jas 4:1 From where do wars and fightings among you come? Is it not from this, from your lusts which war in your members?
Jas 4:2 You desire, and do not have. You murder, and are jealous, and cannot obtain. You fight and war, yet you have not because you ask not.
Jas 4:3 You ask and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it upon your lusts.
Jas 4:4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever desires to be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us yearns to envy?
Jas 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says, God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.
Jas 4:7 Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Jas 4:8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, double-minded ones.
Jas 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness.
Jas 4:10 Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Jas 4:11 Do not speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against his brother, and who judges his brother, speaks against the Law and judges the Law. But if you judge the Law, you are not a doer of the Law, but a judge.
Jas 4:12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you who judges another?
Jas 4:13 Come now, those saying, Today or tomorrow we will go into such a city and spend a year there, and we will trade and will make a profit,
Jas 4:14 who do not know of the morrow. For what is your life? For it is a vapor, which appears for a little time, and then disappears.
Jas 4:15 Instead of you saying, If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.
Jas 4:16 But now you boast in your presumptions. All such boasting is evil.
Jas 4:17 Therefore to him who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin.

James 4:1-10

“Draw Nigh to God”

The Apostle returns to “the jealousy and faction” of the previous chapter, Jam_3:14, and says that these evils are traceable to lust, that is, to inordinate desire. The restless inward war is the prolific parent of failure in speech and act. If we would pray more and better, we should soon find the inner fires dying down.
In Jam_4:5, r.v., margin, we learn that God has placed His Spirit within us, and that He yearns for complete control over our hearts. He can best overcome inordinate desire and teach us how to pray. God wants more of us. His love is insatiable in its yearning for every room and cupboard of our inner life, and He is ever wishful to give more grace.
There are four conditions which we must fulfill, if God is to have full possession:
1. We must be subject to the will of God, Jam_4:7;
2. We must draw nigh to God, Jam_4:8;
3. We must cleanse our hands and purify our hearts, Jam_4:8;
4. We must humble ourselves in His sight, Jam_4:10.
Then God will fill the soul, the sluice gates of which are open to Him.

“If the Lord Will”

When we speak evil of another, we usurp the functions of the only lawgiver and judge. If that other is endeavoring to model his life by the law, to speak evil of him is to question not his action alone, but the law he is trying to observe. Let us turn the light in upon ourselves and be merciless in self-criticism, while merciful to all others. When you see another doing wrong, always ask yourself whether the same evil is not hiding in your own character. Do not speak of men, but to them, when their faults confront you.
We are prone to make plans without reference to God’s will. Life is so transient and brief that if we are to make the most of it, we should ask the divine Spirit to choose for and guide us. Our one endeavor must be to discover God’s will and do it. If we are not constantly saying, “If the Lord will,” the sentiment it expresses should always be uppermost with us. “Thy will be done” in me as in heaven!

I think about the poor and the WORD OF GOD says that “the poor shall be with us always”! And I believe the Words of God. So why do people hate the poor so much, or do they?  Deuteronomy 15:11, Mark 14:7,Matthew 26:11,John 12:8

I am poor and wish I was rich, but sometimes we miss opportunities to get wealth. But because I am poor financially, does not mean  like being poor. If everybody was rich I wonder what kind of world would this be? One that Christ wouldn’t like. But then if the Bible says the poor shall be with you always then does that me that some of us are destined to be poor? I wish I could have won the recently played power ball, but how can you win if you never buy a ticket? So I knew I would not win because I did not buy a ticket. But I sure wanted it. I do not think anyone wants to be poor. The rich says ” if they go to college you get wealth, others say most people want to be poor, some say the poor wait around for a hand-out, some even say they like being poor, some other say it is inherited, some say Poor people want to be poor, they say. Really? Some also said, RONALD REAGAN famously said, “We fought a war on poverty and poverty won.” With 46 million Americans — 15 percent of the population — now counted as poor, it’s tempting to think he may have been right.  John Stossel On The Poor: America’s Poor ‘Live Better Than Most Have Lived Through History’

The theory is that a poor person remains poor because the factors created by poverty cause poverty to persist, or even worsen. The things that make you poor, keep you poor

Newt Gingrich: Poor kids don’t work “unless it’s illegal”, “Really poor children in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works,” the former House speaker said at a campaign event at the Nationwide Insurance offices. “So they literally have no habit of showing up on Monday. They have no habit of staying all day. They have no habit of ‘I do this and you give me cash,’ unless it’s illegal.”

ROMNEY: “There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it,”

James 5:1-11

Jas 5:1 Come now, rich ones, weep and howl for your hardships coming on.
Jas 5:2 Your riches have rotted, and your clothes have become moth-eaten.
Jas 5:3 Your gold and silver have corroded, and their poison will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days.
Jas 5:4 Behold, the hire of the laborers reaping your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of those who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
Jas 5:5 You have lived luxuriously on the earth, and lived wantonly. You have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Jas 5:6 You have condemned and murdered the just; he does not resist you.
Jas 5:7 Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and the latter rain.
Jas 5:8 You also be patient, establish your hearts, for the coming of your Lord draws near.
Jas 5:9 Do not grudge against one another, brothers, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge stands before the door.
Jas 5:10 My brothers, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering ill, and of patience.
Jas 5:11 Behold, we count blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is full of pity and of tender mercy.
Jas 5:12 But before all things, my brothers, do not swear; neither by the heaven nor by the earth, nor any other oath. But let your yes be yes, and your no, no, lest you fall into condemnation.
Jas 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing psalms.
Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith will cure the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
Jas 5:16 Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much.
Jas 5:17 Elijah was a man of like passion as we are. And he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for the time of three years and six months.
Jas 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to sprout.
Jas 5:19 Brothers, if anyone among you err from the truth, and if anyone turns him back,
Jas 5:20 know that he who turns back the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

James 5:1-11

Patiently Await the Lord’s Coming

There are many among the rich who are using money as a sacred trust. Not against these does the Apostle utter his terrible anathemas, but against those who make money by oppression and hoard it for their selfish ends. Riches, which have not been gotten righteously, ever bring a curse with them; and the rust of unused or misused wealth eats not only into the metal but into the miser’s flesh. In the light of this passage, it is as great a wrong to hoard up for selfish ends money entrusted as a stewardship, as it is to obtain it unrighteously.
There is a sense in which the Lord is ever at hand and present. But He shall come again at the end of this age. Then all wrongs shall be righted and the oppressed avenged. Everything comes to him who can wait for it; do not judge the Lord by His unfinished work. Be patient till He unveils the perfected pattern in glory. Await the end of the Lord!

I guess I’ve written enough for tonight. Thanks for reading my blog!

May God and Lord Yeshua our Messiah bless and keep you true to His Word. May Our Lord Yeshua touch our hearts. Until I write again May Yeshua Keep you dear to His heart in Love! AMEN
