2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable
for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in
righteousness. To judge and correct sin is necessary, but as all
things should be done in love out of a pure motive. We are not
called to look for faults in our brothers, but to be a means of
restoring them to right standing with God.

Do Not Give the Enemy Ground to Attack
And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you
formerly walked according to the course of this world, according
to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now
working in the sons of disobedience. You look in the
mirror and that is the outside you that you see. The next layer of
you is the mind, will and emotions, and finally the spirit man. We
know people by their fruit, that is to what level or degree they are
mature in the Lord or even if they know the Lord. We need to be
allowing the Holy Spirit of God in all situations to help us possess
our souls, and therefore our actions outwardly, love, joy, peace,…
Sometimes this is not easy to do in certain situations. Choose the
150 high road. CHOOSE to do things God’s WAY! This is not about
you but representing Jesus before others. This is the true suffering
for Christ, the true growth in God. Realize this, if it is banging on
your door, take the test! Is it God looking for a Godly response in
you?, Are you being refined?, Is your flesh the problem?, Is your
mind, will, or emotions being worked on by the Lord? Is He
showing you something about yourself? Is the flesh of another
coming at you? Will you love them in spite of themselves as Jesus
does us? Or have you given the enemy grounds to come into your
life by a wrong attitude toward another or even yourself or God?
Wrong feelings?  Wrong thoughts? You know it is wrong? Some
where the enemy has sown a bad seed! The TIME is now to deal
with it! Repent and be determined to do good, go the extra mile so
they will see, listen, and learn! Forgive and love! (Matthew 5:48)
For example: The devil wants God’s creation, mankind, in hell.
The Devil hates what God has made done you your life, so he uses
spirits of racism to divide, cause disunity, strife, and contention!
Why? Because the devil knows he is in major trouble if we come
together in unity! (See Unity Prayer) (Hint: Never blame God!)

The Spiritual Realm is Real The spiritual realm is a real unseen existence, alive and active. There is a war going on of satan and his demonic spirits (evil) against God, His angels, and praying saints. This war is for the possession of your soul (mind, will, and emotions) and to dominate the unredeemed spirit of all unsaved on earth. There are many lies out there. Let me give you insight as to how these lies work to seduce and draw you away from God and the relationship He desires to have with you and His loving thought out plan for your life in Him.

Some of those lies:
Lie #1 All people will be forgiven and be in Heaven. God will surely forgive me without Jesus in my life.

Lie #2 There is no God or Devil.

Lie #3 There is no Heaven or Hell.

Lie #4 The Bible was just a book written by men.

Lie #5 Religion was thought up by a man or men to control the masses.

Lie #6 Man evolved.

Lie #7 I believe some of the Bible is true and I don’t take it so Literally, I am okay.

Lie #8 I can get to Heaven on my own good behavior or merit.

Lie #9 I am good and I will be good and help others. (This is called “works”.)

Lie #10 I believe in God but I don’t think I need to ask Jesus into my heart, because there are many ways to Him.

Lie #11 I believe there is a God. I believe in God. This “cross” or “Jesus” thing is not for me.

Lie #12 I believe in God, and His Son and what Jesus did. I am good, and that is good enough!

Lie #13 I believe Jesus was just a Prophet sent by God.

Lie #14 How can Jesus’ Blood save anyone? …
12
that’s a bloody Religion. Do you expect me to teach my children that?

Lie #15 I will never be good enough. I’m working on it.

Lie #16 God is dead

Lie #17 I am not important enough to God
… it’s God’s fault, what kind of God would…, and the excuses & lies go on!
The devil gives people excuses and reasons to believe God does not exist or that He is far off. The devil is also trying to persuade people into thinking they don’t need God or that He is a weak God. The devil does not want you to know that God is loving, kind, merciful, & forgiving, He has a good plan for your life; a relationship with Him moment by moment, our One True, and LIVING God, our Heavenly Father!
The devil, originally named Lucifer, is a created being, a fallen Cherub (angel), who became twisted on the inside. “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground, which weakened (by deception) the nations”? (Isaiah 14:12) The only power the devil has is the power you give him over yourself by believing his lies. These lies are like a trap, or a snare that take people captive. The devil, the enemy of God, and his evil followers on this planet are always trying to deceive and draw us away from our Heavenly Father, from a relationship with God the True Heavenly Father and His plan for our lives. People don’t even realize when they are deceived or ensnared, that is how slick (devious) the devil is. The most dangerous thing I see in people that allows this deception to occur is pride. Pride is blindness to God, His Way, and the reality that we need Him! Pride tells us that we can do things without God’s help or intervention. That is dangerous (deadly). Through pride we become blinded, set in our minds and hearts to go another way (stiff necked), with a bad attitude (hard-hearted) and rebellious (against or opposing God). When blinded like that we can believe a lie or think we are okay even when we are not. God is the turning point, the turning around place is in Him! We need God’s help! We need God!

WHEN NOTHINGS WORTH TRUSTING…

Who do you trust? What do you trust? How can you trust? So what’s next?

Can you trust yourself?

Can you trust your friends?

Can you trust family?

Can you trust people?

Can you trust anything?

We can trust Him

Trust has to start with a reliable source

What is trust? According to Oxford Dictionaries, “Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something: “relations have to be built on trust” ·

Merriam Webster says, “trust is  to rely on or on the truth of ; to place confidence in someone or something ;to be confident
So give me your definitions of Trust… send me your ans.
According to Changing Minds, “Trust is both and emotional and logical act. Emotionally, it is where you expose your vulnerabilities to people, but believing they will not take advantage of your openness. Logically, it is where you have assessed the probabilities of gain and loss, calculating expected utility based on hard performance data, and concluded that the person in question will behave in a predictable manner. In practice, trust is a bit of both. I trust you because I have experienced your trustworthiness and because I have faith in human nature”.  changing minds trust, trusting  We feel trust. Emotions associated with trust include companionship, friendship, love, agreement, relaxation, comfort.
So tell me what are your thoughts on trust?
How do you really feel about truth and trusting?
We can Trust God

Trust God with your worries, secrets,  your alls and everythings

Sometimes I feel so uneasy about trusting others. Sometimes I can’t even trust myself to do exactly what I’m supposed to do. For example, I can’t trust myself to read my Bible sometimes. Sometimes I can’t trust my friends to tell me the truth about a thing I may ask them about. Sometimes I feel like I can’t trust my doctors.  Even because of the experiences I’ve had with the court systems I truly know I can’t trust them. My oldest son had a set of lawyers and God knows I could not trust them, some non trusts of people or things comes natural, and are warranted. Some people you just cannot trust and when I say trust I mean, trust them  to do the right things. If we look at the Political races, for President, you may find yourself, asking yourself who can I trust, and is there any trust among thieves? Most do not trust public officials, I don’t even want to discuss how money can influence trust lol! (a whole new topic)
BUT TRUST, you do not have to look very far to find a trust issue. Look right in your home, in your social circle, in your family circles,  in your neighborhoods, and the trust issue goes on …. But trust can be a big issue, when trusting may really matter.
Guess what? When u do not trust someone or something that can be a very miserable feeling, a bad feeling, a lonely feeling, a terrible feeling. I know some of you have never thought about it because you can trust everyone, lol! But on the serious side… everybody is not to be trusted and even if they could be trusted, there would still be issues. The issues are, you  never really know, for sure. Then think about the times when you really trusted someone and discovered that on their part, there was no trust.

These are some interesting articles that may help u understand ones feelings on trust.

So after thinking seriously about trust, what is your conclusion to the questions stated above? Well, there is one true answer to those questions:
Question: “What does the Bible say about trust?” ( Got Questions. Org)
Answer: The words translated “trust” in the Bible literally mean “a bold, confident, sure security or action based on that security.” Trust is not exactly the same as faith, which is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). Rather, trusting is what we do because of the faith we have been given. Trusting is believing in the promises of God in all circumstances, even in those where the evidence seems to be to the contrary. Hebrews 11 talks about faith, which is accepting and believing the truth that God reveals about Himself, supremely in the person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, the practical consequence of faith in God is trust, which we prove by living out our full acceptance of God’s promises day by day. Furthermore, it is by this trust that we are promised peace: “You will keep in peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3).The classic verse regarding trust is Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” This verse sums up the Bible’s teaching on trust. First, it is the Lord in whom we are to trust, not ourselves or our plans, and certainly not the world’s wisdom and devices. We trust in the Lord because He and He alone is truly trustworthy. His Word is trustworthy (Psalm 93:5; 111:7; Titus 1:9), His nature is faithful and true (Deuteronomy 7:9; Psalm 25:10; 145:13; 146:6), and His plans for us are perfect and purposeful (Isaiah 46:10; Jeremiah 29:11). Further, because of God’s nature, we are to trust Him with all our hearts, committing every aspect of our lives to Him in complete confidence. Finally, we are not in trust in ourselves because our understanding is temporal, finite, and tainted by our sin natures. Trusting in ourselves is like walking confidently across a rotten wooden bridge over a yawning chasm thousands of feet deep. Disaster inevitably follows.Trust in God is a feature of many of the psalms of David. There are 39 references to trust in the Psalms alone, whether referring to trusting in God and His Word, or to not trusting in riches or the things of this world. It is on the basis of this trust that David finds deliverance from all the evil he encounters. Many of David’s psalms describe situations when he was pursued by Saul and his army, as well as his other enemies, and always did the Lord come to his aid. One thing that can be noted about biblical trust is that it always engenders further trust in our God. The man of God never stops trusting in God completely. His faith may be knocked, He may stumble, or He may fall into the foulest of sins, but “though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand” (Psalm 37:24). The man of God knows that, though trials will beset in this life, his trust will not waiver because that trust is based on faith in the promises of God: the promise of eternal joy with the Lord and the promise of an inheritance that “can never perish, spoil and fade” (1 Peter 1:4).
Trust — Trust is believing that God always does what is right.

TRUST GOD

But these were people/ things that trusted Yahweh.  So I say where should you put your trust? This is God I trust.
Sometimes when it is very hard to trust people, the only choice that is evident, is God Our heavenly Father. He asked us to  Trust in Him with all of our hearts and lean not to our own understanding.
WE SHOULD TRUST HIM WHEN WE CANNOT TRUST NO ONE ELSE. DON’T WORRY IF U CANNOT SEE HIM, WITH THE NAKED EYE,  HE IS THERE. TALK TO HIM, TELL HIM, ASK HIM, BELIEVE HIM, TRUST HIM, WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE ANYONE TO TRUST. U CAN TRUST HIM. YOU CAN BE TOLD THAT A MILLION TIMES, BUT UNTIL U ARE PUT IN A POSITION WHERE YOU WILL HAVE TO TRUST HIM, THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN YOU LEARN TO TRUST HIM. As for the days and times we live in believe me that day will come sooner than later. You will need to genuinely trust someone. Have you ever wanted to tell something so bad until you felt like your heart was about to burst, if so you had better trust God, with your information because sometimes the person you trust probably will not be the person to trust. So get on your knees and tell it to God. You can truly trust Him.

Slave or Not?

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation – which had become official January 1, 1863. The Emancipation Proclamation had little impact on the Texans due to the minimal number of Union troops to enforce the new Executive Order. However, with the surrender of General Lee in April of 1865, and the arrival of General Granger’s regiment, the forces were finally strong enough to influence and overcome the resistance.

Later attempts to explain this two and a half-year delay in the receipt of this important news have yielded several versions that have been handed down through the years. Often told is the story of a messenger who was murdered on his way to Texas with the news of freedom. Another, is that the news was deliberately withheld by the enslavers to keep up the labor force on the plantations. And still another, is that federal troops actually waited for the slave owners to reap the benefits of one last cotton harvest before going to Texas to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation. All of which, or neither of these version could be true.  For whatever the reasons, conditions in Texas, to keep things as they were, well beyond what was statutory.

General Order Number 3

One of General Granger’s first orders of business was to read to the people of Texas, General Order Number 3 which began most definitely with:

“The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and free laborer.”

Freedon Celebration

Freedom Celebration

The reactions to this profound news ranged from pure shock to immediate jubilation. While many lingered to learn of this new employer to employee relationship, many left before these offers were completely off the lips of their former ‘masters’ – attesting to the varying conditions on the plantations and the realization of freedom. Even with nowhere to go, many felt that leaving the plantation would be their first grasp of freedom. North was a logical destination and for many it represented true freedom, while the desire to reach family members in neighboring states drove the some into Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Settling into these new areas as free men and women brought on new realities and the challenges of establishing an heretofore non-existent status for black people in America. Recounting the memories of that great day in June of 1865 and its festivities would serve as motivation as well as a release from the growing pressures met in their new territory. The celebration of June 19th was coined “Juneteenth” and grew with more participation from descendants. The Juneteenth celebration was a time for reassuring each other, for praying and for gathering remaining family members. Juneteenth continued to be highly revered in Texas decades later, with many former slaves and descendants making an annual pilgrimage back to Galveston on this date.

The freedom message reached different parts of African-American Slaves on various dates between 1863-1864

America and Juneteenth

The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution abolished slavery and involuntary servitude, except as punishment for a crime. It was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864, by the House on January 31, 1865, and adopted on December 6, 1865. On December 18, 1865, Secretary of State William H. Seward proclaimed its adoption. It was the first of the three Reconstruction Amendments adopted following the American Civil War.

So now knowing that, are you slave or free? I would say I am free, but is that really the truth? You would say you are free, but is that really true?

According to us, yes it’s true. So freedom it is. Does that make it so because we say so. Does that mean we are because laws and constitutions say we are? Does that make it so? If your parent tells you to do something,  do you have to do it? If you don’t what happens? If the Mayor of a city tells you to do something and you don’t, what happens? When the Governor tells you to do something and you don’t, what happens? If the police tells you to do something and you don’t what happens? If your doctor tells you to do something and you don’t, what happens? Are you getting the point? So are we really free?   We are free physically, but are we free mentally? Many of us say, yes. Some of us are. But the majority of us are not. Some of us remember things, some of us do things, and some of us live through things. Some of the things we go through causes us to wonder are we really free?  Being free to do as you please can cause some of us to lose our freedom!  Is our minds really free? No we worry about all sorts of things.  We worry about tomorrow, when we shouldn’t. W e worry about things that we fear when we shouldn’t. We worry about what the day or night may bring, when we shouldn’t. So are we free?

The US slaves were set free, but worries about the unknown, caused doubt.  When given a chance to enjoy real freedom  most were hesitant. How would you react? Or would you choose to stay in the same old situation, because of fear of the unknown. Some have never experienced slavery, but most have; rather they know it or not!  It starts in the mind. Slavery has to be in  the mind of the person.  You can be a slave and be free, or you can be free and still be a slave!

Speaking of Slavery!

Every major ancient civilization depended heavily on the service of slaves, conquered people set to a variety of tasks by their masters.  The scripture states that the Hebrews became slaves of the Egyptians,  under whom they carried out forced labor ‘in mortar, in brick, and all manner of services in the field’. Exodus 1:8-14

During the time of Apostle  Paul the in the Roman empire over half the population or more may have been slaves.  Depending  on the interest of the ruling masters. Joseph was sold as a slave to the Egyptian Potiphar.

Then Daniel and other young Hebrew males were taken into captivity to Babylon., where they were trained for high levels of government services.                                                                                                Daniel 1:1-7, 18-21

The majority of slaves in those days were often used as property to be bought and sold as needed. Males were often assigned construction  or in mines to dig and worked so until exhausted to death. The women were maid servant, were usually sold to well to do men for service to their wives or daughters . But most were used for sexual pleasures for men.

But not all slavery was between nations, according to the Old Testaments the Israelites had both Jewish and Gentile slaves. The Jews who were too poor to pay their debts or who were convicted of theft sometimes sold themselves into slavery. In  contrast to other cultures of the day the Jewish law protected slaves and even granted them certain rights.                                                                                                          Exodus 21:2-11, Leviticus.25:39-55, Deuteronomy.21:10-14

If you would like to know more , it all located in the Bible.

However, I must say, when it comes to slavery, it can be a terrible thing for anyone. Being a slave is no fun! Being used against your will is terrible for the one being used. I know in the US slavery was a welcomed entity, however some greatly opposed the Institution of Slavery. If I may, I would like everyone reading this article to take a moment; stop reading and close your eyes and think back. Now let your mind wonder what would have been if….. or  place yourself in the moment, and time. Let yourself become a slave. Go back to the plantation and  stand before your master and go inside the mind and body of a slave. You for a moment become the slave. Look upon your master’s face and see his frowns, and the yelling and the whip sliding across your back. Stop and look at your children being snatched away from you, to be sold right before your eyes. Look at your wife being sold, or your husband being sold. You hear your daughter screaming from the barn, while she is being raped by  the massa or the massa’s son. ALL YOU CAN DO IS STAND THERE AND ENDURE THE PAIN. You are waken up every day around 4:00 am to go into the fields to pick and package cotton. Your fingers hurt, your back hurt, your legs hurt and your stomach hurts. No where to run, nowhere to hide. You are A SLAVE, and you ain’t nothin but a black nigger, who deserves to be treated like a nothing and a nobody. You hear all the names you are being called, you hear about all the beatings they enjoy giving, you hear about all the lynchings. But what can you do! What can you do!  The only thing you can do is PRAY!  You have no identity anymore, you have no home anymore, you have your heritage stolen, you have you history stolen, you are nothing and nobody but a slave. You work, work, work and work for them but where is your wealth! It’s been stolen too. Now you can come back. Now why do you hate  me? Can you feel the hurt and the pain. That’s the story of a slave!

Steal Away, Steal Away to Jesus

We’ll stand the storm

 Sweet Canaan

“Go down Moses Way down in Egypt land. Tell  ole Pharoah, Let my people go”

slavery-black-slaves-back-littered-with-scars-from-whipping[1] “O, freedom over me. And before I’d be a slave I’ll be buried in my grave An go home to my Lord An’ be free”

But God is forgiving and so are we!

God has forgiven!

Now as for slaves, I can be a slave, you can be a slave, we all can be slaves, to the unforseen!  We could all be slaves behind money, or a slave to drugs, strong drinks, sex, racism, a slave to hatred, a slave to the anti-christ spirit. We could be a slave to a lawlessness rebellious nature. Then again we can be a slave to deceiving others, or a slave to lying to others, or a slave of being attracted to the same-sex person, or a slave to bad addictions, a slave to corruption, or maybe a slave to sin. Maybe you can have a murdering spirit, anger, or suicidal, or a slave to divination, of fear of thing and other people. There are so, so many things you can be a slave to. So that is why I said earlier;  Are we  really free. I know some of us are slave free. We have no slave in us or over us. But for some of us we are a slave to something. The things that we are a slave to, can be to the death of us. Say for instance you would like to get rid of your slave, but you can’t, because it’s so hard to depart yourself from your slave, when you think about all the profit you will lose.

Back to slavery: Once the slaves were declared free it was so hard for some to walk away. Addictions can be as addictive as slavery. Both were and is so hard to let go, to get rid of. If you are addicted too any thing you can stop being addicted over night you usually have to go and get some help. So being a slave to something or someone is not healthy.

Remove the chain of prisoners, who are chained unjustly. Free those who are abused!

Drug_Abuse-2[1] drug-abuse-cocaine-300x202[1] header_drug_abuse[1] Sex-Addiction-Impulse-Treatment-Center[1] teen-drug-abuse[1] Use-Abuse-Addiction[1]  drugs[1]

These are all some type of addiction, so if addicted then “You Are A Slave”.

1. Being a slave is hurtful.

2. It destroys you and others.

3. Being a slave is losing something dear to you.

4. Being a slave is TO BE  taken away from the things you love.

5. Being a slave is having no say so about anything.

6. Being a slave, you have to do as your master tell you.

7. Being a slave is a killer.

8. Being a slave is having your real identity taken away from you!

9.  Being a slave means you have no life, but the life your master has chosen for you.

10. Being a slave takes away your pride., self – identity and  originality of the person you once were!

I’m sure you know what I mean. When you become a slave you lose all of self you belong to what ever or whom has the control or power over you. So can you imagine how slaves in US history must have felt. You were somebody in your homeland,  then you came here as a slave and lost everything, your identity, your namesake, your family, our health, your culture, you get the idea.

“And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you and ye shall return every man unto his possessions, and ye shall return every man unto his family.” Leviticus 25:10 KJV

Many of our ancestors were brought here more than  one hundred years ago: many of our Fathers, many of ourselves have fought and bled for the independence of our country. Do not expose us to sale. Let not the spirit of the father behold the son robbed of that liberty which he died to establish, but let the motto of our legislature be: The law knows no distinction”. James Forten (1766-1842)

I know some of you are asking today, ‘How long will it take?” I come to say to you this afternoon however difficult the moment, however frustrating the hour, it will not be long, because truth pressed to earth will rise again. How long? Not long, because no lie can live forever. How long? Not long because you reap what you sow. How long? Not long, because the arm of the moral universe is long, but it hands toward justice.” Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968)

Freedom is a hard-fought thing and millions are in chains, but they strain towards the new day drawing near. Paul Roberson (1898-19760)

Your petitioner therefore prays your Honorable Court to grant him leave to sue as a poor person, in order to establish his right to freedom. Dred Scott (1795-1858)

BUT !  THERE WAS AND IS ONE AND ONLY ONE-WAY OUT!  HOPE IN JESUS CHRIST. Some chose to die at their own hand than to suffer at the hands of their slave owners. BUT THE HERO’S WAY OUT WAS TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR LIKE AND BELIEVE, HE WOULD COME THROUGH FOR YOU! SO ITS TIME NOW TO GIVE IT TO JESUS CHRIST!

In every human  Breast, God has implanted a Principle, which we call Love and Freedom; it is impatient of Oppression, and pants for Deliverance; and by the Leave of our Modern Egyptians I will assert, that the same Principle lives within us.                                                          Phillis Wheatley (1753-1784)

When the day comes and you have been set free – YOU REJOICE! Because you have been set free!

Father, Oh, Lord Our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, we call upon you Father to heal the land and Father please set your captives free. Lord on High we need you to day, Lord we Thank You today. God you are our Father and we need you in our live so that we can live for you. Lord we need you in our live to see the world and the people in it through Your eyes. Lord you are Our Keeper, Our Deliverer, Our Protector, and Our Master. Lord Our Father, help us humble ourselves so that we may be able to love others as you love us. Lord Jesus please God, keep us in Your hands so that we may not destroy each other. Lord kill the hatred in each of us. Lord help the world heal. Lord and I pray for the heads of states and the heads of the nation. Lord please clean their hearts, help them understand that we were created to serve you in the Highest.  Lord let them see that every decision affects the masses. So Lord help them turn from their wicked ways and turn to You once again. In Jesus ‘ Name I Pray Amen, Amen, and Amen!!! Father heal the Land!
